Great mic especially at this price. The AT2035 is also on sale for $100 and a good step up from this one.

I picked up the AT2020V last year. Have not even used it yet.

Hmm I don't see the 59 price. Could it be location restricted? When I click your link, it is still the usual 99. When I check the Amazon app (Netherlands) it is discounted, but for 89 instead of 59. I just removed this from my wishlist because I have a fairly decent mic and the minor upgrade woulnd't be worth the 99. But with 59 it becomes a different story.

Wow, great mic for anyone who managed to get the deal. I got a crazy deal on a pair of them years ago, used.

It's an industry standard, like every studio starts with a 2020 and a 57.
