NokNod
I always hear artifacts at the loop points of time stretched audio clips. Are there any settings in the preferences menu that will improve the real-time performance of the Elastique pro time stretch algorithm ? Why does Reaper seem to perform time stretch so well compared to Cakewalk. Is there something under the hood that I am missing ? ❔
David Baay
I would not have thought it was possible to mis-implement a stretching algorithm. I'd be interested to hear renderings of the same material from Cakewalk and Reaper side-by-side. I'd be really surprised if there's a difference, but if so, you could have the Bakers look into it. NokNod
seems like I have to fiddle with the settings in Cakewalk but Reaper just seems to work......but I really do think it's operator error, I'm hoping there maybe some default audio settings in Reaper that I can look for that are similar in Cakewalk and I can change them manually. NokNod
deselecting the 64-bit Double Precision Engine seems to have fixed the problem
