Markers added automatically

Hi all. My first post here, so be gentle!! Just moving to Cakewalk from a paid version of Studio One. Last straw was a charge of £128 to upgrade to latest version!! Anyway, enough moaning. Here's my question. When I drag a wav clip onto a new track, it automatically adds a marker on the timeline. How do I stop this? Anyway, LOVING cakewalk!!

Normally, no markers will be added , but maybe those wave files have embedded cue markers.

Try unchecking "Allow importing of WAV File Cue Markers" in 

Preferences > File > Audio Data > All Projects
