Fleer Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Good dev. Already have LocNess and FireChild. This one should be a great saturation plug-in.
pseudopop Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Looks like Tone Empire has some kind of sale going on. You can get Loc-Ness and Reelight Pro for $19 each, and you can also get FireChild for $19 at Audio Plugin Deals with rewards money. Are these worth $19? 2
Fleer Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 IMO yes. Apparently it’s a small dev but they get good reviews. 1
marcL Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 And they have a really user-friendly authorization! Forever without internet, without trouble!

I put Goliath in my cart at APD, and they offered Firechild for $19 without using any rewards money... 2

That's good to know, though I have enough rewards money to buy Twitter so I was actually looking forward to an opportunity to finally use them for something. Anyhow, the Goliath deal is still available for 10 more days, so I think I'll wait until next month in case they offer some new freebies. 1 2
MusicMan Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 These add quite a lot of latency in Cubase.. I was trying a few out in a project and noticed the additional latency and traced it back to Goliath, Reelight and Firechild. Not too much of an issue in mixing stage, but I think I'll probably pass given I've got some good alternatives. Still not bad plugins though. 1
