cclarry Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 I just bought Vocal Rider for $25 at Best Service, which is priced at $89 at Waves, which will get me Bass Rider for FREE. $12.50 per plug seems to be reasonable! ? Best Service STILL has low prices on some things that are priced higher at Waves, so you can make out on this deal!https://www.bestservice.com/deals/waves_deal_of_the_day.html 2
Mesh Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Bass fingers is $22.89 at Best Service as well. How did you get the freebie (is it after purchasing the first one)? 1

kitekrazy Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Not really impressive as for free ones. I wonder if the retail price from Waves is not their sale retail price.
cclarry Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Waves website says FREE plugin email will arrive about 2 hours after purchase...
cclarry Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 It also says that what you spend is NOT cumulative. So, if you spend $80 to get a free plugin, and then another $70, that doesn't mean you'll get two! You'll have to spend another $80 to get another plugin, and that will only be from the FIRST list...not the second...
cclarry Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Well, it's been way more than 2 hrs and nothing yet...
RSMcGuitar Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Was tempted... but the free ones I don't really need.

Indeed...that's why I'm going to take Bass Rider as my freebie! These two are BOTH probably the most useful Waves plugins there are! Especially since they can WRITE the automation for you and then you can remove them! 1
alacantec Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 So... In order to reach a $80/$150 tier... does it matter the "regular price" from Waves stores or their current on sale price?

But Larry, you mean copy automation curve to volume lane first before remove?

Vocal Rider and Bass Rider will WRITE the automation in the Automation Lane for you...then you can remove the plugin, as the automation has been written, saving CPU

To workaround this I am copying curve from rider fader lane to volume lane. Did you find any way to keep it after plugin removal? 1
cclarry Posted July 6, 2019 Author Posted July 6, 2019 Well the 5th has come and gone and no email...I sent them a support ticket
