Metronome Settings Won't Save, Won't Stay Set

Hi,

This is weird, but when I set my metronome settings, they won't stick.  As soon as I exit that page, the settings I selected are gone.  I am wondering if there should be a box that says "apply" at the bottom of that page.  I haven't seen it.  I did see it on a YouTube video I watched recently though.  Any help is appreciated.   Thanks!

Did you go into preferences for metronome setting?

If you are saving as pure MIDI files and not cakewalk project files...that setting is not retained (along with others).
