Are antelope stuff native or just DSP HW?

I'm not the biggest fan of this company, but they have some emus I'd really like to try out.  I've been tempted in the past to get something like this ( https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/msg/d/valencia-antelope-audio-zen-go-synergy/7506433364.html  )second hand, but then I don't know if the plug in's are compatible or how much dsp they'll offer, etc and eventually I give up.
