Muletone Audio has released two new instruments, Brazilian Series: Zabumba and Brazilian Series: Triângulo for Kontakt.

The Zabumba is part of the emblematic musical groups and genres of the Brazilian north-east. It became known in other regions of Brazil, mainly from baião, the forró trio including xote, and xaxado.

The Triângulo is used in combination with Zabumba and accordion in regional rhythms from the north and north-east of Brazil such as forró and xote.

The instruments were recorded using a pair of Neumann KM184, a Neumann TLM 102 and a AKG C414. The preamp section used was a pair of Chandler Germ 500 MK2, a pair of Millennia HV-35 and a Shadow Hills Dual Vandergraph Compressor (-1DB GR) on Room Mics, routed in a Apogee Ensemble MK2.

Intro Price:

Zabumba: $13.99 (Reg. $17.99).

Triângulo: $8.99 (Reg $11.99).

*Full version of Kontakt 5.8 or above is required (Not for Kontakt Player).
