satya Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/4-Synth/5635-RYM2612-Iconic-FM-Synthesizer It’s an emulation of the Yamaha YM2612 sound chip, best known for being the vibrant voice of the Sega Genesis/Megadrive videogame console
satya Posted July 10, 2022 Author Posted July 10, 2022 I also found this free synth called GENNY and it has sample import function! https://plugins4free.com/plugin/3124/ but the only problem is the imported sample get detuned to 11025khz even if u import 44.1khz , kinda lo-fi

But 11025 kHz is damn good... ??
daveiv Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 RYM2612 is only for emulating those 16-bit game sounds, or is it useful for fulfilling our day-to-day regular FM synthesis needs?
