RSMcGuitar Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 At this rate v15 will be out before the end of the year. I'm finally done with waves I think. 2
Tony Carpenter Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 I have mixed feelings about this. Strongest about negative is to pay for a number of plug-in fixes… that’s definitely not right. I love quite a few of my waves plug-ins, but, time to replace them with stuff I always own and or similar things that update without wup. 1 3
Technostica Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 I departed the Waves gravy boat a year or two ago. Fortunately I wasn’t in with them more than a few fathoms, so it was painless to get back on dry land. 3

I wonder which ones are paid shills. So there is no v14 of Cre8. They are probably eyeing when it is convenient to slap a paid upgrade. Wups! You have to go to the website to activate those. abacab Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 Best comment so far on KVR: "So not an informative post then, just more Waves bashing from the same idiotic members. Hey ho". 1

kitekrazy Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 (edited) I have yet to divorce myself from Waves plugins. I do like CR8 which I have 3 licenses. Good thing they are an outstanding developer. Edited June 21, 2022 by Paul Young

I thought they would be upgraded automatically in Waves Central but I had to go to the website. I can't wait to see which of my DAWs gets confused with the plugin scan.

Then you have to go looking for the free upgrades among your stuff...
RSMcGuitar Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 Almost $200 to update Horizon and there is not a single new plugin in the collection....
GaleOm Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 With new versions be so close I assume that demand for waves plugins reach saturation point so they try to extract as much money as they can with WUP.
daveiv Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 Is it possible to use v13 and v14 plugins at the same time? I have some stuff expired, and some are eligible to upgrade to v14 for free.
