2B Played announces VST3 for MacOS

We have exciting news. From now on we will start rolling out the VST3 plugin format for MAC.

 

That means that in the near future we will upgrade our catalog so that on macOS we support both Apple's own Audio Component format as well as the VST3 format.

We expect to make updates to the catalog over the next month to support VST3 for macOS as soon as possible.

Like its Audio Component counterpart, the VST3 format will be compatible with Intel x86-64 and Apple Silicon (ARM).

 

At the same time, in upcoming product updates, we will remove the VST2 format for Windows for all plug-ins affected.

To give this project a good start, we have provided the following plug-ins with the VST3 format for macOS from today:

Warble

Filter Friend

 

Existing customers can download these VST3 updates for macOS by following the MAC download link in their order email or by logging into their account.

We are thrilled to now be able to support most of your favorite DAWs on both macOS and Windows.
