If it is truly ~55%, I am guessing this is almost on par with BF/CM pricing, and no need to wait until then this year?

JRR is slightly higher than EveryPlugin, which has the lowest prices

I believe studio 4 to studio 5 upgrade for $58 is a go for me. 

Since I upgraded my OS, Studio 4 was no longer operational.
