Hello guys:

I met a problem these days, when I play my midi keyboard, the signal and audio has nearly 1s delay.

But when I use others DAW software, such as Cubase or FL studio, there are no delay any more.

Is there any settings not match? or other reason?

Thanks~

I remember a long time before, it worked correctly, but I forgot from when , it became delay.

Midi delay is often caused by the audio system due to certain effects adding latency. Try bypassing your effects.

* You can freeze everything that can be frozen. That can help.

* You might be able to find a built in sound like TTS that has less delay than the sound you are using and change it back after you record.

* If your keyboard has sounds, monitor the keyboard not the computer sound, then deal with timing issues after the record. (maybe drag entire clip back to near beat before quantize)

* I mostly use external hardware to avoid delays, even small delays can wreck the feel of what you are playing.

* Sometimes if Microsoft is updating in the background this can cause delays

Yes, my money's on a mastering plugin with a big lookahead buffer. Disabling all FX will confirm it and enabling PDC [Override] will bypass it on input-monitored tracks, but ultimately that plugin should be removed from the project until tracking is done.
