Mishal
Hello guys: I met a problem these days, when I play my midi keyboard, the signal and audio has nearly 1s delay. But when I use others DAW software, such as Cubase or FL studio, there are no delay any more. Is there any settings not match? or other reason? Thanks~

John Vere
Midi delay is often caused by the audio system due to certain effects adding latency. Try bypassing your effects. Edited May 29, 2022 by John Vere
msmcleod
The main causes of this are: - Using a driver mode other than ASIO or WASAPI Exclusive - Having your ASIO buffer size set too high
rfssongs
* You can freeze everything that can be frozen. That can help. * You might be able to find a built in sound like TTS that has less delay than the sound you are using and change it back after you record. * If your keyboard has sounds, monitor the keyboard not the computer sound, then deal with timing issues after the record. (maybe drag entire clip back to near beat before quantize) * I mostly use external hardware to avoid delays, even small delays can wreck the feel of what you are playing. * Sometimes if Microsoft is updating in the background this can cause delays

Yes, my money's on a mastering plugin with a big lookahead buffer. Disabling all FX will confirm it and enabling PDC [Override] will bypass it on input-monitored tracks, but ultimately that plugin should be removed from the project until tracking is done.
