Where Vol. 1 of the range focused on pointillistic textures, Vol. 2 focuses on longer, bowed texture. As always you have full control over the texture and ensemble size with the density slider, which mores seamlessly between 3 and 9 players. The shorts in Vol. 2 are played with guitar picks, a technique used to great effect by Jonny Greenwood in his seminal score for "There Will be Blood". It produces a very crisp and defined pizzicato, with a lot more bit than regular pizzicatos.
