richardskeltmusic
When Dimension was released there were some sounds that were out of tune (by about 40cents if memory serves). Is there a list somewhere of the affected patches? I now access the DPro sounds through Rapture and yesterday was a bit surprised to find a vocal patch that was out of tune as I thought the affected patches were mainly bass sounds? If there's a list I can delete the names so they don't show up in the browser... Edited June 19, 2019 by richardskeltmusic
rcklln
I don't know of a list and not sure if this helps but I typically check the tuning of any synth I add with a keyboard controller and digital tuner in the fx bin. Adjust the tuning as needed with the synths tune/pitch control (most have this). For example, real basses-->microfretless is sharp but setting the tune control to -7 will set it correctly. richardskeltmusic
Yes that works. I was thinking back to when I used DPro as multi-timbral, but as I use Rapture with one instance per sound I can manually tune it where required. Using a digital tuner is a good idea. John Munday
The basses were the worst for me so I put a tuner across them these days or try and fix them with Melodyne (which is broken at the moment for me). Just bought Bass Fingers from Waves on the offer. Looking forward to trying that out.
