Larry Shelby
We're thrilled to announce that we've launched SoundID Reference for Multichannel - the latest addition to the SoundID Reference speaker and headphone calibration product family. It extends the well-known stereo calibration of SoundID Reference to multichannel setups. The objective of SoundID Reference for Multichannel is to enable anyone to calibrate their multichannel system on their own, in a simple, reliably accurate and consistent manner within an hour. Thus improving the quality and speed of the creative work, enabling considerably better translation of spatial mixes between studios and to end-user devices. SoundID Reference for Multichannel comes as a paid upgrade for existing users and can be bough as a separate product in Sonarworks Store for new users. Anyone can try out the multichannel version 21-day free by downloading the latest product version! For the existing stereo users, we have added M1 native support as a free update. Overview about all improvements and changes of the latest product version can be found under the release notes! Starting from version 5.3, macOS 10.12, macOS 10.13, and Windows 8/8.1 operating systems are no longer supported. Version 5.2 is still available for these operating systems, learn more here. https://www.sonarworks.com/blog/product-news/soundid-reference-for-multichannel
