I have seen big sales on this before. Wasn't it $99 at one point?

Samplitude is one of those DAWs I need to check out. It is used exclusively by some people I follow.

The lowest it's ever been for the Suite is $199, that I know of.
I use it, and it's a MONSTER DAW.  While the interface is still pretty "old hat"
it's still a real powerhouse - more so than people really think about.

I thought I might go with it when Sonar was stopped as my future daw. Liked it and yes it is extremely powerful. But when CbB became a reality I stopped upgrades of it. I think if you're heavy on the audio side it is great. The MIDI side was lacking IMHO.

I did the same. It is very powerful, but not worth the money even with the add-ons.  I could never jive with the workflow, and I wasn't having any fun using it.

To me Samplitude has that old (in a good way) analogue look and feel to it.

And yes it is a very powerful audio workhorse not much that can't be achieved.

I like the fact that audio and midi can share the same track.

Their price upgrade point is the only issue I have and again I don't need all the extras.

You can do that in Reaper, as well as put Video on the same track, but I've never seen the point, since you basically have unlimited tracks. Maybe I'm missing something.

I took the plunge the other day....I updated from Samplitude Pro X3 Suite.  Samplitude was my backup plan for Sonar.  It seems like a pretty powerful DAW but it was really awkward to use so it was back to Sonar....till I crossgraded to Cubase Pro 10...I have 12 installed but haven't tried it yet...still running 11. I really want to spend some time with Samplitude to get more comfortable with it but it will be the backup for Cubase :)
