Carey
Is it possible to change the snap to scale colour in the piano roll. I find the white a little too strong. Also, I don't have a lot of experience with music theory. If I have some midi in Cmin, should I set the project root key to C in order for other audio/midi to transpose to the correct key when brought into the project? I assume C and Cmin are not the same thing. A little confused. Thanks Carey
User 905133
2024-01-27: Image show PRV with hot colors deleted Quick test using arbitrary colours chosen in the Theme Editor. As for transposing, if you want to transpose all notes in a midi track up x number of steps or down x number of steps, you can do that. See the index in either the on-line documentation or the Cakewalk Reference PDF. Footnote: In the image you posted, I don't see any white so since I had no idea what you meant, I just changed a bunch of colors using Cakewalk's Theme Editor. For more information on using the Theme Editor, see the guide put together by Colin Nicholls and posted in this thread. Another option is to change colors via [P]references: Edited January 27 by User 905133 (3) to add the [P]references option; (2) to add a couple of links; (1) to add some additional details

tecknot
Hi Carey, Yes, C and Cmin are two different keys and are not related. Kind regards, tecknot
