PhonoBrainer Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 Drum n Bass n Beatles! Glad I had my good headphones on. Very nice electronic additions all the way through, and that bass was pretty manic. Very cool. 1

Illogistical Resource Dept. Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 Thanks guys! I used a pitch shifter to spread out the drums a bit and some mid side EQ as well. The rest was just simple panning techniques. Thanks for listening!

Suboculis Posted May 15, 2022 Author Posted May 15, 2022 I used the Soundtoys Microshift to spread out the drums a bit since they were all on one track, and the Fabfilter Pro-Q3 (which is my go-to EQ) to dynamically boost the low frequencies in the center and the highs left and right. Hope that helps.

Wookiee Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 Always one of those tracks I enjoy from the Beatles, mix sounds reasonable here on my Event 20/20's. 1
DeeringAmps Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 The Revolver album is maybe my all time Beatles fav. Always felt that Tomorrow Never Knows was the inspiration for Are You Experienced?. When doing something tedious, boring, repetitive; I just play TNK back in my head the whole time. Great job, ?'s t 1

For the master bus I used StardardClip to clip some of the peaks and some light limiting with the Fabfilter Pro-L2. Edited May 17, 2022 by Suboculis 1
Kevin Walsh Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Love it! Excellent cover of my hands down favorite Beatles song. I am a collector of TNK covers and yours is a great addition to the hoard. Vocals are spot on too! 1 1
