I've only played around with the factory tabs, and they sound very good on playback. The guitar/bass tab file import feature looks interesting. It will import tabs in Guitar Pro format, *.gp3, *.gp4, *.gp5, & *.gpx. I really, really wish they could use their Tab Player to import tabs and then save the result as MIDI, but apparently they can't due to licensing. IIRC, Guitar Pro (recently updated) can do that. lawajava
I just watched a YouTube clip that indicated (I think) that is possible. To import tabs and start editing them. I was just fooling around on the AmpleSound site testing putting items in the cart. It seemed adding more than one bass and then even adding a guitar to the cart kept making the price more attractive. The more you buy the more you save kind of thing. It can import and edit tab files, and export them as MIDI and/or musicxml. https://musescore.org/en https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/tablature https://chaidarun.com/musescore-tab Quote Guitar Pro (various—import only) MuseScore can open Guitar Pro files with the following extensions: *.gtp, *.gp3, *.gp4, *.gp5, *.gpx, and, as of version 3.5, *.gp. Quote Export Export... allow you to create non-MuseScore files, such as PDF, MusicXML, MIDI, and various audio and image formats. In the Export dialog, you can choose which format to export to. Export...: Export current score to format of your choice. Here's an example of a Bass tab I found online in GP format, that I exported as MIDI from MuseScore, and opened in the DAW. Works great! https://freeguitarprotabs.com/ Edited May 14, 2022 by abacab

user 905133
I love his videos. Mondo respect. If this plug-in will give me 1/10,000,000ths of his abilities . . . . Does it have an algorithmic CB style arranger where I can just put in chords and switch articulations to sound like CB? Yes, he was showing how the riffer could be dragged to the DAW paino roll. That doesn't work with the Tab Player. On 5/14/2022 at 7:58 AM, abacab said: Ha! Guess what? It'll probably work but if I need to call up an additional program, I'll probably use Guitar Pro. It'd be easiest if AmpleSound did it all by itself without the need for a 2nd program. But, it's good to know it CAN be done.

(ending on the 29th seems a bit strange, vs end of the month) Contact them and let them know you thought it was until the end of the month. I'm sure that they'll let you buy at the sale price, or get them at Thomann for $79 before they take it down https://www.thomannmusic.com/search_dir.html?sw=Ample Sound&smcs=null_1653953839771 1
