cclarry Posted April 28, 2022 Author Posted April 28, 2022 Got this message when updating from BitDefender The file C:\ProgramData\Waves Audio\Modules\WavesLicenseEngine.bundle\Contents\Win32\WavesLicenseEngine.dll is infected with Gen:Variant.Razy.675976 and was moved to quarantine. It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean 1

Thanx Frank...I only use 64 bit versions, so the 32 bit Engine being crap doesn't bother me, but I'm sure others may still use the 32 bit Engine, so at least they know! Could also be a "false positive" on the part of Bitdefender, but those, in my experience, are extremely rare
Frank Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 (edited) Hi Larry, got a fast answer from waves. Hi Frank, We are aware of this issue and we are looking into it. For now, I suggest reporting to your anti-virus that this is a false positive. I can assure you that this is not a virus or malware. Edited April 28, 2022 by Frank 1
