It probably was supposed to be released by now, but based on my take of some Vital forum comments, Matt is dealing with a few Mac graphics issues.

I believe Bitwig is the only DAW with CLAP plugin support so far, but other DAW companies mentioned in the announcement are evaluating it for their host and plugin software:
