When this thing first came out, I found the name off-putting when I thought it rhymed with pluck 'em. It was only later that I realised the emphasis was probably on pronouncing it Eff Emm and the spelling was probably intended only as a cheeky nod to the alternative. I think I'm past it now. It only took what, a year? Haha.

I tried the Abyss demo. The workflow just didn't click for me.  But I did unbox my JV-1080 years ago!
