You can always change the colors in the preference menu. All colors can be custom made

Try and toggle the view from clips to notes - see if they show up. Do you see them when the track is not selected?

CJ and RBH.  Thanks so much! Clips to notes removed blue area and shows notes now. Found the Theme Editor in preferences (platinum). Quite a list of options there.

Glad you got it sorted out. - I'm curious - do you have any problems using the Mercury or the Tungsten themes ? These are default - and should show everything pretty clearly. If there's a problem with either of these then you might have a general graphics issue with CbB
