I have Wavform 11 but Tracktion will not allow me to upgrade to 12. Wants me to pay full price.

same here. And the upgrade price is steeper than in the previous releases

I'm on 10 and there doesn't seem to be an upgrade path at all

They’re charging $99 for the upgrade, there’s no more “basic” option. If you paid for the DAW Essentials plugins you have to pay for them again. 
 

AND they’re charging for bug fixes for bugs they introduced in 11.5.

Classy.

Also seeing $99. Didn’t it used to be $49 or 69?  
 

I like the idea of Waveform but never use it as Cubase is my main DAW and I don’t have time to use that!  
 

$49 would be no brainer, but now I will wait until I actually want to use it

I stopped upgrading and now I have to pay full price if I want to get on the bandwagon again. I'll pass and rather spend my money on upgrading Presonus Studio One when version 6 is released.

Same. But they have not updated the user manual in a significant way with new feature coverage since version 8.  IMHO that's a big deal for a "once in a creative while" DAW. ?

It seems like a nice upgrade except for price.  I thought they were going in a direction of free DAW and make revenue from they synths.  I never really liked it anyway. Bandlab and FL Studio seem more impressive every day.    Like all developers they overprice their extreme package. I can't imagine someone paying  a grand for a DAW loaded with software unless you are a professional.
