If resale on software wasn't basically non-existant, it would be a lot easier to justify $75 given the other stuff you could sell off that this will replace.  

This is the only channel strip that doesn't feel compromised in some significant way to me.  If they were able to add a pre-amp section with some saturation varieties it would be practically perfect.

And this has very low CPU usage all things considered.  

Don't run a trial on this one if you are looking fo avoid the purchase that is for sure!
