Anyways, trivia question: what was the name of the midi controlled, rack mount, sampled bass player (rompler) that had interchangeable eprom chips that you plugged into a ZIF socket? I almost bought one back in the day... too expensive, though. I think it was between 3 to 4 hundred dollars in 1985 money.
