DigitalShaman Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 I recently upgraded my laptop to a Dell G15 5511. I had been using Sonar Platinum on my old laptop but decided to update and install Cakewalk. Things worked worked fine for a couple of days but for some reason the other day I open a project with Waves plug-ins and try to view the any plug-in and see this. I tried all the solutions I saw here and on Waves forums but nothing fixed the issue. I contacted Waves support and they quickly identified A-Volute Nahimic service as the issue. Once this service was deleted the plug-ins worked as expected. A-Volute Nahimic was pre-installed by Dell.
Jim Hurley Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Nahimic, Sonic, and Avolute stuff are frequently installed with RealTek audio driver updates. I make a note to myself to eliminate these things and disable the services they start.
