cakewalk will crash when loading some projects (2021.12)

HI~HELP!

Since I install the lastest version of cakewalk, (2021.12  VERSION)

It Crashes on some projects (The app just disappered and no any error message)

(after seeing the "creating UI" message)

Even just opening a pure midi file

of using safe mode (hold shift not loading any plugin)

 

I have to rollback to 2021.09 (11. 12 no good luck for loading projects)

THANKS.... But I still don't understand...

 

If I save file from newer version after 2021.9

Then I can't re-open these project files again...

Even it's just a template fresh opened, without any work...@_@ 

They just crash on "creating UI"... not hanging, the Cakewalk app crash and dissappered

Can you PM me a copy of a project you can't open?  We'll look into it.

Thank you! 2021.12 version CAKEWALK

I open a fresh new file without any plugin and midi data
I just draw 2 notes by piano roll, then save.

Re-open it, then My cakewalk just disappered, same, after seeing "Creating UI"...

Seems weird...

So I try back to use Sonar Platinum...

 

I found it's smoother than CAKEWALK bandlab...@_@ WHY

I got the project - loaded fine for me.

Crash on load is extremely rare for me. However I always save a Bundles backup at the same time on a different drive. This has bailed me out many times for this problem and for certain others of my own making.

Maybe someone can make a bundles backup for you that you could try ? Possibly disabling plug ins that might be causing a problem on your end ?

There's definitely nothing wrong with the project file itself, so  there must be something else causing this issue.

Can you capture a crash dump and send me the dump file?

I try find the minidump, but no automatically dump files, So I try save the dump file from task manager and send to msmcleod

The crash  from a very pure midi file(midi format 0) , saved from a new file from CAKEWALK itself, only one midi note I draw withou any plugin loaded

Are you using any workspaces in Cakewalk?

Wow, I never use workspace... forgot this funtion

I use cakewalk from 3.0 ? and till now, never changed to other DAW since 1995

actually not get used to every new function
