A lovely sad song, well played and sung. That guitar intro is great and the accompaniment is perfect.
Here and there the timing seemed off like you're straying a bit from 4/4? Not that it matters that much, just something I noticed.
Thanks for posting.  Never heard of Beltromi before.

Paul, your production skills have vastly improved over the last several years, and this song shows that improvement very well.  I now know the name for a syndrome I'm well acquainted with ~~  Keep up the good work.

This has a very heartfelt feel to the vocal Paul, as Lynn said your production skills have come on in leaps and bounds, good stuff thanks for sharing.

I'll take the Brian Wilson comparison any day.

The first few measures in the chorus of Brian Wilson's song "I Get Around" taught me about chromatic harmony.

"....from town to town."   Harmonizing a flat 2nd note with a major VI chord was genius!   A lot became clear to me after that.

This is an excellent song Paul.  Your lyrics effectively convey what seems to be very personal emotions.  Melody , your vocals and the BGV's really convey the emotion of this song as well.  This number has some serious angst and emotion but the instrumentation adds a bit of a cheery counter measure to that.  How in the world did you manage that.

Really good stuff -- one of your best!

Hi daryl,

Thanks for your comments, glad you enjoyed the backing vocals.

Hi freddy,

angst and emotion seem to be my middle name at the moment ?

Thank you both for listening and commenting, it is really appreciated.
