I recently bought an Arturia Minilab MKII to use with Cakewalk by Bandlab. The keyboard works fine as a midi controller, but I can't seem to get the pads assigned in a way that CbB understands. I'm using Arturia's Midi Control Center to create a user template and save it into one of the MiniLab's memory banks. In this software you can assign keys to the pads, actions to the knobs, colours to the pads, etc. , then select the template that has the assignments you've created. And the fact that you can assign colours means you know when your particular template is "loaded". But in CbB, the new pad assignments don't register. I wanted a controller that would let me program drums on pads instead of keys, and this one looked great. I didn't think there was such a thing as compatibility issues. Both my old M-Audio and MX49 just plugged in and worked. Anyone have any ideas?
