SynthManDan Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) I’m having some clipping which I assume is related to latency settings. My previous DAW (MixCraft 8 Pro) used the Windows Wave RT driver, and I was set at 18 mil secs with no issues. In Cakewalk I don’t see Wave RT as a driver option, and the programs scans have automatically set me down to what appears to be 10 mil secs. I can’t seem to increase that. Any suggestions? I used Cakewalk many years ago (probably more than 15 years ago), but I can’t get it to increase. All my work is through VST’s. I don’t record audio so the Windows Audio RT driver worked great for me in MixCraft. Thx! Edited May 22, 2019 by SynthManDan

SynthManDan Posted May 22, 2019 Author Posted May 22, 2019 It was an oversight on my end. I wasn’t set to “exclusive” for the driver. Once I selected that audio driver I was able to adjust the latency settings. Sqk
