So the individual notes are moved? With other words NOT a project tempo change with the tempo editor/tempo track. Lets say the MIDI notes looks like this in the beginning: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . And I want them to look like this: .... . . . . . . . . . . . . With other words decelerating, the notes gradually pulled apart farther and farther way. And for accelerating it would obviously be the opposite, the notes gradually moved closer and closer together. Is there a way to do this at all in Cakewalk? Bit Late to the party on this. I was experimenting with some CAL scripts that could do this. Do these CAL scripts I have written do the trick you are after? Compress Notes to the left.CAL Compress Notes to the right.CAL

Can't check whether this is what I was looking for as the links aren't working I'm afraid But I'd be happy to try if you get them working again. I've tried them and it seems they're compressing a little bit, but very subtle changes and when trying on longer clips it puts the clips a bit randomly. It doesn't seem to work here Tried both left and right, got the same results. Tried on both an instrument track as well as a MIDI track. Same. Thanks anyway mate! As with most CAL scripts, they work best when all the MIDI events you want to effect are in the same clip. Also, make sure your project clock is set to 960 PPG (Preferences - Project - Clock). I have rewritten these since this last post. Try these. Note: Any slight random fluctuations might be down to rounding issue with CAL itself.
