Automation lanes for Sonitus EQ - cannot get sweep working

Hello,

I am doing a simple exercise for a class.  I have a footsteps file where I am panning from left to right and front to back.  Volume and pan automation lanes were simple and instant.  I also wanted to use the Sonitus EQ to automate a high cut filter from left to right so I can automate a far-away muffled sound to a close and clear sound.  It's not as easy or intuitive.  I get a large choose parameters box, but in the Sonitus EQ, how do I know which parameter is which?  They are not clearly marked.  Thanks.

I would simply set band 6 to "Low pass" and automate the frequency

Record the automation while moving band 6 frequency.  If you happen to end up recording other parameters, simply delete them.

Once you have recorded enough, simply edit the resultant automation curve to taste.

I tested this here and it worked fine.
