daryl1968 Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 Hi pop pickers We (The Forum Monkeys) have been busy writing and recording our new song - All the way to everything. Enjoy All the way to everything Written and performed by The Forum Monkeys (Bapu, Mesh and Daryl1968) V1 I was a lonely lad Girls didn't look my way every day.... In fact, any day Prechorus You used to be a dream to me A wonderful prize for all to see The silver lining is the sun is shining And you are here with me Chorus I love you all the way to everything Come what may, I will stay in your arms as my heart sings All the way to everything V2 So we tied the knot I'm the luckiest guy I know, I've got the lot Believe it or not Prechorus You used to be a dream to me A wonderful prize for all to see The silver lining is the sun is shining And you are here with me Chorus I love you all the way to everything Come what may, I will stay in your arms as my heart sings All the way to everything Middle bit Eternity has no end but I have found a way To love you across the cosmos forever and one more day Prechorus Chorus to end 1
Myriad Rocker Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 For some reason, this song really reminds me of Marcy's Playground and Violent Femmes. I think it's the vocal. It sounds like there's a lot going on in the mix, but everything is clear as a bell at the same time. Everything sits pretty well. Not my cup of tea style wise, but I really dig the mix. 1

kakku Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 This has your signature sound on it. Nice! Bit like a Beatles song 1
freddy j Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Ah, y'all never disappoint! I agree with Kakku - this does have a bit of a Beatles sound to it. I don't how anyone listening to this song couldn't be smiling and feeling happy. REALLY good stuff lads!!! 1
Lynn Wilson Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Beatles or Badfinger, take your pick. Another professionally produced song by some of Cakewalk's best. Well done, gents! 1
Douglas Kirby Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 This is a cool rocking tune - I enjoyed your lead vocal - it's got a bit of a Brit pop vibe to it. Tasteful guitar solo - it fit just right. The mix sounded fine to my ears. Nice job guys. 1
