VSTs panning to the right.

I've installed cakewalk on my laptop and I'm liking it so far, I'm just having one problem with it.

While playing some vst instruments they will auto pan to the right immediately, or after a few seconds of playing. I can reset the pan in the vst and it will be good for a few notes, then it will pan again. 

It happens when playing my midi keyboard, or using the keyboard in the vst, or playing a midi recorded with a vst that's working properly.

Its happening with with a few vsts such as key zone and msound factory. But some other synths, drums, and audio recordings are working fine. 

The laptop is pretty decent and according to the task manager the cpu load is around %25 while I'm playing. I can't figure it out so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: I turned off my interface and tried using the laptops onboard sound card, and there was no panning, so it must have something to do with windows, cakewalk, or the interface. Its a Motu Audio Express.
