My cakewalk will not work!

I tried to install Cakewalk and as soon as it finished I opened it and it only let me get past choosing my type of song and then it switched between my speakers and my headphones multiple times and crashed. Wouldn't let me do anything. Tried running on admin mode but that does not work either. Help!
