Jacques Boileau
Might as well add: I was born in Montréal and I moved to Laval. I love winter as much as the other seasons. What I like most is the change of seasons here. This morning we had large slow falling snowflakes, just beautiful. So nice for a walk.
jerrydf
Here in Warwickshire UK, coming up to midday Wednesday, we're on a very unseasonal 385 Kelvin (OK ... 12C), which is about 8 degrees above normanl, and rising. It's nice not to be uncomfortably freezing, but also alarming in the context of global warming. jdf Edited December 29, 2021 by jerrydf Global warming

It's been averaging 10-12C during the day and no colder than 3C during the night (which isn't that much different than it was in August, give or take 5C). No sign of snow apart from on the mountains. Considering I'm around 250 miles North of Edmonton, it amazes me how different the climate is across the pond.

kitekrazy1
I moved from the Chicago area to the Phoenix desert. Either my Midwest blood is starting to fully drain or becoming more elderly, the 50's are getting touch to deal with. When your indoors have ceramic tile you set the thermostat to the low 70's.
