Larry Shelby
Crocus Soundware has released a Kontakt edition of their Liminal: Winds library, which was previously offered exclusively as a HALion Sonic SE library. This is a sample library of closely recorded flutes, ranging from a small fife to a large Contra-Bass constructed out of 12 feet of industrial tubing. They say: The library's articulations are textured and evolving, with the performer imparting character and movement into each sample. The flutes were mic'd in proximity to the embouchure hole, providing characteristic breath into each sample. The library is suited to add unpredictable nuance, detail and texture. This library is not intended for fast passages or soaring melodies. It is suited as a collection of naturalistic pads for underscoring or soundscapes. The user-interface allows articulations to be layered, mixed and reversed. LFO controls can be enabled, allowing your DAW's tempo to dictate the modulation of an individual layer's volume. This opens the door for tempo-synced swells and unleashes even more creative possibilities for evolving texture. Features: Download includes both Kontakt and HALion Sonic SE editions. VST3, VST2, AU and AAX compatible host. 1.8 GB of samples Uncompressed. 9 Core Articulations. 3 Creatively Processed Articulations. 60 Presets. Price: $60 - $36 intro offer until 5 January, 2022. https://crocussoundware.com/Product_LiminalWinds.html Edited December 28, 2021 by cclarry
