Anybody have any experience/thoughts on Syn'X 2.5. I can get it for 59 Euros which is slightly above my budget but if it's worth it I might go for it.

It's a good one to get if you like to emulate Jean-Michel Jarre's Laser Harp sounds.

Usually I would recommend buying the mini version first and then upgrading if you like it (you'll get a $59 coupon for Syn'X after getting the "mini")

In your case however, you may not be able to stack the upgrade coupon with the one that you have.

I never got a coupon to upgrade to the full one after picking up the Mini - did you have to ask for it?

No, it showed up in my User Area, there is a button "My Coupons".

Ah ok thanks, I never got it for some reason. Figured it might turn up eventually but it never did. Oh well, good to know that's the upgrade price if I'm ever overflowing with funds (which I'm certainly not at the moment, lol).

For me it showed up automatically, and it  sounds pretty unusual for them to stop providing an upgrade path, but I guess anything is possible. I would contact their support.
