Kal S Posted December 20, 2021 Share Posted December 20, 2021 Hi I recently tried running Scandisk on my external HDD (Windows 10) to scan for errors because windows gave me a prompt that it needed fixing. However, post running Scandisk while the HDD is still being recognized by my laptop I am unable to read/write anything from it. Also, plugging it into the USB port now causes Windows to hang. Has someone here dealt with something like this? Is there a HDD Recovery Software (paid/free) that I can try and use to recover my data from the HDD?
