Yum Audio Lo-Fi Tapestop

Lo-fi effects come from what were considered undesirable elements by audio engineers back in the early days of tape recording. For example, degraded audio signals, fluctuations in tape speed, imperfections in the mixing process such as an audible “hiss”, or a distortion in the sound.

But now, these effects are part of a wide variety of music genres extremely popular today, like lo-fi hip hop. The thing is, recreating these tasteful “imperfections” using digital tools is not at all obvious… That’s exactly why we created our series of LoFi plugins.

And with Christmas getting closer by the minute, we are not slowing down on Holiday deals.

Until Sunday night, grab our unique
LoFi TAPESTOP plugin (value of $75) for only $39.

Is it me or Lofi is the new dubstep .... lol

Kinda, from the spawning trendy genre specific plugins perspective. Fortunately, unlike the various instant wub-wubafiers, most of these plugins have use outside of lo-fi. Developers made the fatal mistake of making dubstep plugins that mostly covered only one tiny subgenre of dubstep that died quickly.
