Duplicating Selected Envelopes Independent from the Clips

Duplication function is not working for the envelopes. They only work for clips. 

I think we should be able to duplicate selected envelopes with the same command which we use for duplicating clips.

Just like we use same command for copy and paste clips and envelopes.

It does work if you've got "Select Track Envelopes with Clips" checked under Track Options, or have it enabled in the select module:

By the way in the animated GIF is a macro for Duplicating Selected Envelopes which works for only one measure.

Ah right, I see - sorry, I mis-read, you want to duplicate the envelopes without the clips.

Currently there are only two duplicate commands:  "Duplicate Selected Clip(s)", and "Duplicate Section" (from an arranger section context menu).
