Larry Shelby
We are pleased to announce the release of Microwave Proof, a new Phase Plant Content Bank by Camellia. The cat evolved, and is no longer concerned by radiation. Microwave Proof includes 67 presets for Phase Plant. "Excessive energy" is an assessment used to shout down a person's inner child. Here at Kilohearts we think inner children should be allowed out to play regularly and with indelible markers. Camellia's high tempo fizzling sizzling sounds offer the perfect set of disruptive implements, to cause the most mayhem in the stuffy, turgid "real world" as possible in the least time. There are chippy bleeps and bloops, screamy growly basses, varied and mix-ready FX patches, and some of the most creative leads you've heard this side of the moon. Microwave Proof is the bank for you if you want to burst out of the drudgery of slow, boring, beige music and make some multicolored mess. https://kilohearts.com/products/microwave_proof Edited December 2, 2021 by cclarry
PavlovsCat
I'm pretty much at my spending limit (okay, I passed it), but I've never seen a negative post about Phase Plant, just people writing super positive things about it. Consequently, I may eventually pick this up -- maybe next Black Friday! Edited December 3, 2021 by PavlovsCat Fixed a grammatical error and probably missed others. Fleer
Phase Plant is absolutely amazing, as is the entire Kilohearts universe. But I’m not into this kind of “mad EDM mayhem” sound banks. Some of their other banks are pretty good in my book, like Polychrome, Tremor and Suspension. They are more “organic”.
kevin H
Animation in that video was amazing. But i agree, some of these banks are very niche.

Fleer
The ones I love most are Polychrome, Tremor, Suspension, and Animus.
Anxiousmofo
Phase Plant is seriously good stuff, as is all of their stuff. I don't have any content banks, though. Most of them are a little out of my wheelhouse.

I really love Phase Plant but some of the more EDM focussed banks are really not my cup of tea. I own Tremor and the Grattis 2021 freebie, but I was tempted by Animus, Suspension or maybe the Andrew Huang one (enjoy his YouTube channel). I even feel Polychrome by Huang is the best one. Also look for the ones with more wavetables, as some (like Suspension I believe) will add.

Shamelessly plugging, but if you're looking for non EDM patches for Phase Plant, my Man Makes Noise has two libraries for PP on sale at the moment... https://www.manmakesnoise.com/fawkes https://www.manmakesnoise.com/phasefreak
