Bad Penguin
Ok, I'll be that person . . . Since I am new to the TT ecosystem, the EZkeys Modern Pop MIDI pack: Is it truly MIDI that can be used with non-TT software (e.g., Ableton), or is it some sort of "proprietary" MIDI data, which can only be used with TT EZ Keys? EDIT --> Nevermind, just put it in basket and this appeared Quote Note that "Modern Pop EZkeys MIDI" requires EZkeys to operate. bluzdog
Midi files can be dragged from the EZkeys plugin to a DAW, At that point they're regular midi files.
Bad Penguin
I don't own EZ Keys, just SD and EZMix. ?
pseudopop
I haven't bought any EZKeys MIDI packs, but EZDrummer and SD packs seem to be regular MIDI files. They are installed in the same location as the extensions.
kitekrazy1
I'm moving away from Toontrack stuff in favor of UJAM. Better licensing.
abacab
That EZKeys MIDI is also $10 at the Toontrack site. https://www.toontrack.com/product/modern-pop-ezkeys-midi/

abacab
The EZKeys Dream Machine and String Machine are both on sale for $39. Has anybody got either of them yet? Is that a good deal?
Fleer
I particularly liked Dream Machine for its Rhodes Mk7, Celesta, Marimba and Xylophone. String Machine is also nice, but to a lesser extent. More of a one trick pony, yet a fine Solina at that.
Fleer
Sound Expansions have been known to go as low as $29 though.
chris.r
Speaking of new Toontrack deals, is anybody noticing $70 for EZDrummer 2 at bigfishaudio? Is that a rare sale or how often do they for that price? I'm in no hurry....
