So, this is a first for Spitfire’s Aperture offerings. With the introduction of Aperture 3 “The Stack”, while it will be free for those hitting the purchase threshold, it will be available to everyone on December 1st and onwards for $249. More info here:

The pricing I had came from the press release I posted on my site.

It must be a typo at the top of the page. Here is the pricing looking at the FAQ at the bottom of the page.

It's actually pretty nice, not $250 nice, but I can see using it.  My biggest complaint is that it needs more patches, it only has 13 (though each have a bunch of different articulations that are almost patches themself).  For $250 I'd think they need something in the 30 range.

The demo was underwhelming.  And it contains just one patch (which sounds like a gazillion other synths). So what's all the hype about?

At first I thought that it sounded awesome, that was in the Spirtfire clip. But I just wachted Guy Michelmore and I have to say I agree with you. It sounds nice, but not at all super mega hyper massive. I think this saves me €350.

Sharing an update.
I just left a chat session with a Spitfire rep and she confirms that the price will be $249.
This should be coming in for me soon, so I will of course post my experience with it as well.

The Apertur3 page ORIGINALLY said "$249 after Dec 1st." Then it got changed to $299...
So not quite sure WHAT they are doing....

Ok...just looked and it's changed back to $249
