Always gives me a Chuckle when someone brings up how  bad this awesome free software is  ?

It is not by any means beginner DAW Software. Take the time and learn it and you will be rewarded even if you end up picking another DAW.

yeah, you're all correct in calling me out. i'm 52 years old and i miss the days of plugging in to a proper patch bay, watching the the fat 24 track tape roll and capturing the energy, as in an electromagnetic resonance.  anyway, went old school digital with CoolEdit and nice results. ?‍♂️

CoolEdit 2000 ?  . . . I still dust it off and use it occasionally :)  21 years back, not a multi-track DAW by comparison . . . but glad you got your music done with nice results.

(remember what those beatles did on 4 track tape, wow, what they could have done with free cakewalk would be off the charts)

Yes . . . he did return once to explain his frustrations with modern audio technology, why are we still talking about him like he's still here ?
