bitflipper Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Skaka has become my go-to shaker maker for when I don't need all the bells 'n whistles of the likes of Shimmer Shake Strike. Ridiculously easy to use, I'd been looking for something like it for years. Just noticed it's been updated since I bought it at its introduction, with 10 new instruments added. So thanks for the post, Larry. I essentially just got a new percussion instrument for free. 2 1

Just so you know, 9/10 when I see you recommend something buried in a thread somewhere I almost always buy it. Like Blue Street Brass and most recently that snap, clap and stomp thing called La Snap or something.. idk, it was $29 for all 3. I think you said you bought it like a random candy bar while waiting in the checkout line and it ended up becoming very useful. I remember $#!t. So Shaka then? 1
bitflipper Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 You bestow upon me a frightening responsibility, Mr. Jones. 2

Tapsa Kuusniemi Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Brusfri is probably one of the best denoisers around. Perfect time for everyone to grab that. 2
mibby Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Modley looks pretty interesting too. https://klevgrand.se/products/modley
Joakim Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Skaka = Shake Pipa = slang for a strong voice (pipa otherwise means peep/beep) brusfri= Without noise (fri=free) Stark=Strong, but förstärkare means (pre-)amplifier and people often just say “Stärkare” in swedish 2
telecode 101 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 (edited) I like that pipa vocal synth. I just don't know if I would ever use it. Edited November 24, 2021 by telecode 101
