This means that instead of running under Rosetta 2, Gullfoss will now run optimized on all Macs with Apple Silicon. And, of course, this applies to all three editions of Gullfoss – including Gullfoss Live and Gullfoss Master. Running the Apple Silicon build should be seamless once you’ve downloaded and installed the latest version of Gullfoss. To install or update Gullfoss, simply click on the relevant download link on the Soundtheory support page and follow the installation instructions. Monterey and Windows 11 Our initial testing shows general compatibility with macOS Monterey and Windows 11. When upgrading, please proceed with caution and report any anomalies to our support. Below are two known issues on Monterey currently: There is a PACE-related issue with Garageband 10.4.4 that prevents Gullfoss from loading under some circumstances. PACE and Apple are working on resolving the issue. There is a framerate issue in Reaper that seems to degrade Gullfoss’ performance. Cockos has been made aware of the issue.
